Can I keep a collar and a harness on my 6 mo old cat for 1 week or longer while I travel?
My husband and I are going home tomorrow after 1 week on the road in our RV. We have our 6 month rescue kitten fitted with a harness for safety and he seems to be comfortable with it, although I notice the skin on his back seems to crawl more often now and I am wondering if this is a reaction to the harness, or just a natural thing that I am just noticing now since we are in a closer environment. The harness is not too snug, I can put one or two fingers between him and it. When we get home, I will remove the harness and see if the skin crawling stops, although, I wouldn't mind keeping him in a harness and collar indefinitely as long as we adjust it for his growth. He is a good traveler snoozing in his crate about half the time, on my lap the rest.

the harness may get uncomfortible after a while
but fo everywhere else then put the harness on.
