i heard that kitty litter has parasites in them and can spred to my body, is that true?
my kitty was born and raised in the house, never ate raw food or bugs, ONLY eats meowmix and some soft wet food i buy from walmart its meowmix wet food.
so even though she is very clean, is it true the litter box can give me parasites? the litter box is covered with a hood.

The litter itself doesn't have any parasites. If the cat has them then they will be in her poop so if you eat or inhale it you could get a parasite that way. You can take a stool sample to the vet and have it checked for parasites. If any are present they'll give you a de-wormer to take care of them.
